If you are a shopaholic, we have great news for you. Dubai’s ultimate shopping extravaganza, the Dubai Shopping Festive (DSF) is kicking off its 26th edition!
Starting from 17th December 2020, to 30th January 2021, this event will be held citywide.
From stunning lights and fireworks shows to unbeatable deals and jaw-dropping discounts throughout the malls and stores of Dubai, the DSF has a lot to offer and thus attracts tourists in droves every year.
The awesome thing about DSF is that it isn’t just about shopping. It features live performances by musicians, jugglers, street artists and many magicians as well to keep the excitement of the festival flowing.
The Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) said the six-week festival will offer “family fun and entertainment, live concerts, unique markets, art installations and stage shows” in addition to “super sales, unmissable promotions and chances to win life-changing prizes.”
Last year, the festival was held from 26th December, but this year it has started a week early so residents can make the most of their school holidays.
If you are worried about travelling under the threat of COVID, Dubai authorities have claimed on their website that each and every one of their participating malls and event venues “have implemented stringent checks and are required by law to carry out strict sanitisation processes in a frequent manner.” Rest assured their standards for your health and safety will be in line with their local regulations.
DSF is said to be the second most favoured place after the US for shopping. If you have been there before, you know what we are talking about. If you haven’t, then don’t miss this chance to shop at one of the best shopping festivals in the world.
